Bruntwood Park

We have been coming here with children and grandchildren for about 50 years and they never disappoint. The food is good and reasonably priced and always served with a smile. The place is always clean, families and children (well behaved that is), are always welcome and the management are happy to talk to you. There is an outside area where you can sit and eat if you have a dog with you.

Head Over Heels

Amazing birthday party held for my 10 year old daughter. Tasha and Scarlett were incredible hosts. Friendly, fun and kind. All the girls had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the dancing in the disco room to their playlist. I would highly recommend this HoH for older children parties. I was a bit worried at first as I thought 10 may be a little old but the girls were having a ball, up and down the slides and enjoyed every minute. Thanks so much for making it such a special day!!!

Makers Market - Cheadle

Reviewed By Steve H - United Kingdom

Nice little monthly market in the heart of Cheadle off the high street. Nicely laid out, plenty of food stalls selling hot food and many selling quality pies/cakes. Yes it is yet another "Monthly Makers Market" in the Cheshire/Stockport area but they are all different sizes and all have their own look & feel and Cheadle is worth a visit especially as it is a Saturday and the High Street is very busy and also worth a look as it is packed with independent shops/cafes and unlike many high streets appears to be doing well. The market is located at the main traffic lights on a small green area so good for kids to walk around and there is a very good "Charity live music group" near a small pond with tables & chairs to sample your food purchases and enjoy the music and rest!, they play at Knutsford as well, give generously!!. Is it the best in the area? no! I would say that Knutsford is excellent and is one league better but Cheadle is extremely busy and many of the stall holders are probably at all/most of the markets. Would I visit again?, yes! one or two food stalls I had not seen before and as with all the "makers markets" it is a great opportunity to buy the odd xmas/birthday present and also indulge yourself with a luxury cake or very different meat pie!. I was impressed with the variety of cooked hot food stalls including a wood fired pizza oven, brilliant!!. The arts & craft stalls are very much "same old" but there is always a birthday around the corner and these stalls offer a range of little presents at nice prices to suit all budgets. Overall I will visit again as the combination of market and busy high street makes it worth the effort!.

Himalayan Salt Cave

Reviewed By MAC1406 - cheshire

I have visited the cave twice. The first time was great the second a waste of time and money. Each time there was 2 of us and we both thought the same. On our first visit the floor was heated and the salt smell was evident and we both felt clearer headed. The 2nd time we both said it’s not the same and the floor was cold and no strong salt smell or obvious benefits. A friend has just visited today on my recommendation and despite me saying don’t bother if the floors cold they did. Needless to say they came back and said that was rubbish.
So if you visit and the floor is not warm then the salts will not be circulation the same so cancel and return when they have it all switched on.

Me and my little boy recently visited Box Football and we will be returning.
The staff are friendly and helpful, there’s a great environment and the food was excellent.
I had a panini, steak and cheese, called the Ronaldo. Presented beautifully and came with skin on chips and coleslaw which all tasted amazing.....I don’t have a single complaint!
The facilities are to a high standard and I felt comfortable letting my little boy wander round enjoying himself.
I would defiantly recommend this place.

The pub carries a great atmosphere and brilliant staff. The manager really knows how to run a great venue - she is a ball!
They always have a brilliant line up for the weekend including a dj, sports showing and occasional karaoke.

It's always a great night here and doesn't burn a hole in your pocket either ;)
