We spent the whole day here and had a fantastic time! Our little ones hadn't visited a 'proper' beach for a while and this one was perfect for them. It's very safe, the sand is a lovely texture and there's no litter. We were lucky that we arrived fairly early so got to paddle in the sea. Good job we did it first thing as not long after the tide went in. Yes the beach gets muddy but that's not a problem in our eyes! It was lots of fun! We positioned ourselves central of the beach and in front of a cafe which turned out to be a good location as further down the cafes/restaurants were packed whereas the one closest to us was fairly quiet. There are clean toilet facilities and we only came across one shower which was very busy. I really would love to come here again and it looked like further inland there was a camp close by and a little theme park/water park so hopefully will visit again one day.
