Elm Creek Singletrack Trail

The snow has finally melted and the paths are now clear. Took my first walk of 2019 and as always, this place is full of life. The frogs and crickets were chirping and the night sky was beautiful as well. Can't wait to visit multiple times in the upcoming season. Grounds are very well maintained and one of the most peaceful areas of the Elm Creek park reserve near the east side of the City of Champlin

Elm Creek Dog Off Leash Area

Reviewed By kaylal593

This is an amazing dog park with walking trails, open play area and swim area in the summer. I take my dog here almost every day and have fun with the other dogs. Please note that the park is family friendly and I enjoy seeing the kids walk around with their dogs and family. It can get busy with lots of dogs but we’ve seen nothing but good for over a year of coming. I’ve never seen an issue with the kids until today. It is a dog park and not a kid park. If you are letting your kids run around screaming, throwing sticks and not staying close to you, you can’t fault the dog owners for the dogs getting excited about that and tell people how poorly the dogs are trained. It clearly states in the rules on line- Children ages 15 and younger must be supervised by an adult. Please let this wonderful place be for the dogs and use a playground for the kids to run and scream so the dog owners who use it can continue to. Yes, I am also a parent. Thank you.
