Absolutely top fishing!!! This is by far the best days fishing I have had in Thailand , I had a great day catching multiple species of fish up to 100lb+!! Arapaima, Siamese carp, red tail catfish...........this fishery is the best value for money fishery in Thailand as you can buy a day ticket for as little as 1300 baht per day! The manager Barry is a top guy and will help you with anything you want. 5 stars all the way to this fishery!

Malai Farm at Cha Am

Reviewed By mikedR697DX - Hua Hin, Thailand

We were looking for something to do that children (4&7) would enjoy. My girlfriend having seen Malai Farm out of the bus window one day thought this might be a good place to try. Maiai Farm ended up being an excellent place to spend time with the kids. It's a large petting zoo, all of the animals looked healthy and well taken care of. The grounds were clean and there were none of those “aromas” that you usually associate with petting zoos. We ended up staying there for a couple of hours and we all had fun! There is a small restaurant located at the back of the property, the food was good and reasonably priced. The only entry requirement is that you purchase a basket of animal feed (greens, carrots, and corn) for 100 Baht. You will easily use what is in the basket and probably want to purchase more at various stations scattered around the facility for 20 Baht a pop. They open at 8am, I would suggest getting there early (by 9am) to beat the crowds and the heat.

Great walk with a fall ( ha ha ) Make sure you are ready to get wet and your footwear should be strong and water proof to walk over rocks. Great long winding walking trail, seemed unending with beautiful Rain forest kind of surrounding.

We took a day trip here and walked the entire route. You will need a good level of fitness if you intend doing this entire walk, it is not especially climbing down into the cave towards the end ( you really need a touch ) .. Take plenty of water with you. You can also do a much shorter walk to a nice viewpoint that has steps. Being up for a good hike we really enjoyed our day

Nayang Bat Cave

Reviewed By jellyfi5h - Singapore, Singapore

We got there through a local Grab driver whom we booked to drive us around Hua Hin and Cha-Am for 8 hours. Very easy to get there through Google map, look out for the home-made "bats observation" signage outside this house with a small parking pouch. Get on the viewing deck for best views (not wheelchair accessible) and be there early. The bats started coming out and form beauitful long stream towards the same direction for almost 10 mins. The rest comes out scattered outside the cave area thereafter, hence come early to catch this spectacular sight. We were there 45mins earlier. I reckon the house owner built this deck and will be collecting 20 baht per person to use the viewing deck, but there was no one around nor collection tin.

Kaeng Krachan Dam

Reviewed By andrewmI4785PU

Not a planned visit but what an amazing detour for an afternoon. Spectacular views of endless mountain ranges and a dam the size of a small sea, dotted with islands and boat tours by local guides, with stops along the way to see crab-eating macaque monkeys which happily board boats in search of food. Just don't try to get too close. The Kaeng Krachan dam is part of Thailand's largest national park. There is a quaint bridge over to one of the islands but access blocked half way across, unfortunately. Also not for the faint hearted or very young children given the movement of the bridge and the minimalistic wire side barrier. Worth seeing (sadly) is the most enormous section of tree trunk which I'm sure has a story to it. Around two metres in diameter and four or five metres in length. The living tree must have been awe-inspiring. In short, if you have your own car and are heading towards Hua Hin from Bangkok as I was, I would highly recommend a detour.

This place was great. My wife and I loved it. The people saying this place is horrible have obviously never been to a zoo. It’s the same treatment if not better. When we arrived a man was walking around the zoo with one of the elephants. We were able to feed it and play with it. All the animals seem to be as happy as one can expect for zoo animals. We loved it and will definitely come back.
