Built in 2001 and named in honor of one of Central Oregon’s most successful entrepreneurs – you might have bought tires from one of his stores – the Les Schwab Amphitheater has quickly become one of the premiere venues in the Pacific Northwest to see live music. Located in the historic Old Mill District along the Deschutes River, “the Schwab” boasts an all-grass infield and scenic views of the Cascade Range. The Amphitheater is also extremely popular with picnickers, kite flyers and dog owners as the space is open to the public on non-event days. With the space to accommodate more than 8,000 concertgoers, the Les Schwab Amphitheater is the state’s largest outdoor concert venue.
