There are several of the World’s largest things in Casey IL. Last time we visited the rocking chair was a work in progress. It was fun seeing the completed project. Like some of the other items it’s very unique, all of them are at least worth a look see and photo Op. There is even a list of those that are in the Guinness Book of records and others that are just BIG! All of the people we met in Casey were really friendly and the whole town has embraced this adventure. If you are traveling in this area try to find, and see as many of the items as possible; it really is an interesting and fun thing to do

All the art work is well worth the visit. The items are awesome! You will feel so small compared to the art work. What a great way to put a tiny town back on the map during hard times. There are always new big things being worked on so the collection of big things will continue to grow.

Although there are many “World’s Largest....” in Casey, IL; The World’s Largest Mailbox, is not only that.... it is set up such that it actually is a repository for mailing letters! Yes a real mailbox. Unfortunately we didn’t have anything to mail, but I hope if you read this & are going to Casey, then you will be prepared to mail a post card or two from this unique location. You can’t miss it on Main St, right in front of the Candy Depot; another not to miss place.

Visit an Old time candy store that features fine chocolates, novelty candies, taffy and fudge. We also stock a variety of gourmet popcorn and gifts Upstairs we have a Year round Christmas store with decor and ornaments representing the "Big Things" in Casey.

Man you have to love a candy store that has big Dutch wooden shoes and puts a lock on the kid’s entrance. Great chocolate, great suckers, and a great sense of humor. The shoes were beautiful. They have fantastic wood craftsmanship. Like other attractions they have a bible verse that goes with their function. The lady at the store was super nice and told us stories about the town and the shoes, but best of all, they have good candy. I recommend.

Of course you can find this Big Golf Tee, at the golf course! They even have an elevated area where you can stand & take a great photo. The woman in the pro shop was very nice & answered our many questions.

There are several of the World’s largest things in Casey IL. One of the newer ones, since we had been there last, is the pitchfork. It is a few blocks off of the main road, but not too difficult to find. Like some of the other items it’s very unique, all of them are at least worth a look see and photo Op. We had seen some of the items on a previous trip, this time we really made an effort to see almost all of them. All of the people we met were really friendly and the whole town has embraced this adventure. If you are traveling in this area try to find, and see as many of the items as possible; it really is an interesting and fun thing to do

Casey has given themselves a wonderful claim to fame with their "World's Largest" collection. We took a short walk through town and saw the knitting needles, but we just saw them through the window because my boys didn't want to give me the opportunity to shop for yarn! But they thought the needles were really cool, even through the shop's windows.

I think this may be my favorite out of the town’s big items. You can actually get in it and swing. The cage is actually hanging and the cage door will open and close. It is great. You can sit and swing just like a canary. I do not suggest you try to sing like one! This attraction is right across the street from the giant mail box. We had a great time with it.

I originally walked in just to see the big knitting needles and crochet hook but stayed to browse thru the quality yarns and gifts in this shop. There's a huge selection of yarns in beautiful colors. All the employees were warm and friendly. Also lots of quality gift items in the front. So glad we stopped by.
