We decided to book Isle of Reefs tours by Deefer Diving indication. Being certified divers we always get concerned on the tours taking us to the same spots (or close) to where we dove. We exchanged email to sort that matter out and confirmed the tour would be in a different nice location. All the remaining communication prior to the tour went very well and Allison, the owner confirmed the boat pick up in front of our hotel. Very convenient. Mojo, the 85 horse power boat captain picked us up at the agreed time. We visited the mangrove protected area then headed to Sandy Island. At the island, a paradisiac set up. Table, chairs, silverware, delicious food, drinks and lots of Reggae to enjoy the day just talking or taking a nap in the hammocks provided by Allison who is a local educated in New York. She is fun, friendly, intelligent and love the island. We had a great time with them. Don't miss the opportunity to combine a tour and a cultural Caribbean true history immersion. We will do it again.

The friendly staff are experienced and professional. The equipment is top notch. The dive site were very interesting. Whirlpool site is a must. You start with a tug wreck that is teeming with fish, then swim above sand that is full of bubbles, followed by some interesting boulder formations and swim through.
Bob took pictures and sent us some which is an awesome way to save ones memories. Thanks everyone.

A small beach island known for its snorkeling.

This little island in the main bay of the island of Carriacou is a perfect beach destination. It was picturesque and quiet. We went with Arawak Divers and all had a great time- kids, snorkelers, scuba divers, and sun worshippers :) Highly recommended.

We booked Lambi Queen following recommendation from friends,
Went out for full day tour taking in turtle beach, iguanas, snorkelling, Palm island, Union Island, Happy Island amongst others.
Good to see Palm island as a treat - private island - just be prepared for the £50 tab for a round of four cocktails!
Sherwin and Kenneth were great boat handlers, very friendly and very knowledgeable. The boat (with twin 85hp Yamahas) is a really good smooth ride - good fun in the waves without feeling too bouncy and Sherwin knows how to ride the waves.
Various stops offs as you want - best to take on Sherwin's advice such as weather conditions and sea state. Lot of fun - definitely recommended!

For a couple months before my trip, I was in touch with Mike at Arawak Divers to set up my final 2 open water certification dives. The whole process communicating with him was excellent and left me feeling confident about my ability to complete my training and get my PADI certification with them. Having started the process in Colorado, I wasn't sure how it would work out, but Mike and his staff at Arawak made it a seamless and enjoyable experience. Their rates were right on the money, the certification was smooth, and the spots they took us were the best diving we did while in the Grenadines! Plus, spending time with them on the boat and in the water was a blast! They even went out of their way to take us back to our charter on a different island after our diving was complete. All-in-all, a truly world class diving experience!

This former cotton ginnery has exhibits on the history of Carriacou, including old maps of the island and the island's first telephone.

This is a tiny little museum by museum standards but well worth a visit. I am interested in pottery so I was fascinated by the pottery pieces and other relics. You can handle a few pieces which was brilliant. I would of liked a catalogue or even a postcard as a souvieneer as sadly you cannot take a photo inside, therefore my only record is inside my head. I always like to have a visual memory. Maybe this is something they could work on. It would take a little time. I did suggest that possibility. I could of done that for them for nothing and they could of paid for printing costs. However, next time? So definitely pop in and take a look on your visit. The length of your visit is dependant on your interest. I was inside for 30 mins. Could of stayed longer.

Anse La Roche Beach

Reviewed By Unelma333 - Karlsruhe, Germany

It is quite difficult to find this beach. One has to drive or walk to Bogles and follow the signs further north, later it's more like a forest trail. It's a bit of an adventure, but certainly worth it. The beach is beautiful, wonderful white sand and turquoise water. It is very secluded, so chances are good you will be the only visitor. In our case there was another couple, later a yacht, too. There are good swimming possibilities and some snorkeling as well.

Paradise Beach

Reviewed By Unelma333 - Karlsruhe, Germany

This beach is the most popular and (in my opinion) also the most beautiful one at Carriacou. This still means that most likely there won't be more than 10 people at it at the same time. One can always find a private spot for relaxing, sunbathing and swimming. There are a few very laid-back local bars and restaurants, so it is possible to spend a whole day. You have a great view of Sandy Island from the beach and you can also get there from Hard Wood bar by boat for 40 EC per person. If you don't have your own car, it's very easy to take the bus from Hillsborough.
