Our guide Renae was so informative and passionate about her country and her heritage. We learned so much. And the interpretative display area was really well done. Of course there is some confronting history, but Renae was really positive about accepting and moving forward. The display of local children's artwork was impressive as well as some professionally produced bronzes. The team at Gwoonwardu Mia should be and doubt are very proud of what they looking after and presenting to us all about their history and heritage.

Bumbak's is a must visit for visitors wanting to taste Carnarvon's produce. Pickles, relishes, toppings, sauces galore. All hand made on the premises by the delightful owner. However, our favourite was the ice cream. I had the Rocky Road and she had the Caramelised Fig ice cream. Fantastic.
