Had a suit & shirt made last year & well pleased with result. Went again this February & had a 3 piece suit made, again well pleased with the suit. Mac is not the cheapest tailor in the area but good value for money & great service. Give yourself 10 days for a suit to be made this gives a couple of days for alterations if required before returning home if only going on holiday for 2 weeks. Mac has a large range of different quality materials etc and should have something to suit most people. I have no problem in recommending Mac Tailors, give him a try.

I was sat sunbathing last year on Calangute beach when I was approached by a very nice young man telling me about his shop, he gave me a card. he must of made an impression because a few days later myself and my husband went onto Holiday Street to find him. As we came across the shop and went in side we were made very welcome, no one was pushy, I told them I wanted diamond earrings which I purchased, and am very pleased with. On my return this year i had an wedding ring of my Grandma's melted down and made into 2 rings one for myself and one for my husband. I also had a diamond necklace which I'm delighted with :) The shop is friendly, affordable and great value, and they make you feel so very welcome. I cannot wait to visit in 2020 Karen Holmes

Shamrock over the years, has excelled it's self. From Beautiful bracelets, rings, and restyling my old diamond bracelet into a lovely new style, then this time, I have had a sapphire and diamond bracelet which was falling to bits, remade with the same stones, into an exact copy of the original, thank you John, this bracelet is special to me, and with the spare stones left over, he made me a pendant. Also repaired tne gold bracelet on my watch SHAMROCK You are the best.

In this cultural desert here there is something to help you- books, discussions, yoga groups, Organic food groups & of course, lots of good books. A cafe too. I just wish that they would tidy it up a bit & get rid of the blooming dogs!

We meet Mr Farooq and was a remarkable experience. Not only the warm welcome but the attention to details. Farooq has a fantastic knowledge of gems and the manufacturing is of perfect quality. He also can quickly understand the customer preferences and direct us to the sweet spot. Of course that when back in Europe, I took the jewells for assessment. Feedback was perfect. Definitely a reference to have... and if you want a perfect jewell, that is the place.

1st met rocky in jan 17 me n my wife had just got married , he was recommended by a friend , we presented him with the ring designs we wanted , he made them to perfection, exactly how we wanted them, all within our budget , since I have purchased my wife’s eternity ring and a silver ring with engraving on the outside , every year we visit goa we visit Rocky’s shop and he polishes our rings free of charge , as a person he is honest and truthful, he’s very passionate about making his customers happy so in the long run they will return again and again , his workmanship is outstanding , so before you go to any other Jeweller , have a consultation with rocky you won’t be disappointed

We visited Gerison again this year, theres always an array of leather goods at very good prices. With a friendly greeting when entering the store, I generally go in and will state what I need and the service is excellent. I bought another belt and some cabin luggage bags. My wife will will like to browse the leather goods as well as the jewellery and the service is unhurried and whoever is in the store is happy to sit and chat, and I can learn a great deal!
