Brothers in Arms

Reviewed By ynadqnor - Manila, Philippines

They fight together in conflict, they serve together in war but most of all they are the same men who share an uncommonly close and strong relationship neither misery, hardship nor death could separate. This unique bond is immortalized in a statue built in the middle of Corregidor at its highest peak. The inscription says it all - “In these hollowed surroundings where heroes sleep, may their ashes scatter with the wind and live in the hearts of those who were left behind...”

Taal Heritage Village

Very nice place to visit, not as mainstream as Vigan but offers more. Good place for history geeks and foodies. It’s like a larger Intramuros less the walls.

Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe

Reviewed By GerryC343 - Tarlac, Philippines

This church is claimed to be the Oldest Catholic church in the Philippines, established in 1687, and the only catholic church in Pagsanjan. The facade of the church is a magnificent, early Renaissance style architecture. The inside of the church is very impressive, with very modern facilities like TV monitors all around. The sound system though have some echoing sound and needs some improvement. The mass was very solemn, and the choir was excellent.
