A full day trip to Albania from Corfu. We will visit the archaeological of Butrint- designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage site in 1997. Over the centuries, the ancient town had disappeared under layers of silt and vegetation - but archaeologists have uncovered one of the best remains of a working town in the Mediterranean. Later we will visit the town of Saranda, opposite of Corfu . About 21:00 we will return in Corfu.

It was amazing day just for 25 euros per person. Captain Spyros took us from Agios Gordios and drived us to Gouvia by his car telling nice stories about villages we passed. The boat was big and nice and Spyros was the best part of it. He was joking, singins, dancing, talking to everyone and making food. The food was very tasty, and free coffe, biscuits and free wine all the day. The three places we stopped were very nice especially this wild beahh near the lake.

Experience private, tailor-made tour with authentic local flavour. Saranda is a little town with a lovely horseshoe bay and a perfect climate, averaging around 290 sunny days a year. Ksamili, this hidden gem is located on the Albanian Riviera, and it sure is one of the best beach destinations in Europe. Once there, you can enjoy Paradise beaches offering white sand and crystal clear water. It is almost impossible not to like Butrint. The site is so complex, with remains dating from different periods covering 2500 years that everyone is sure to find something which they will remember forever. Even if you are not interested in archaeology, you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, the scent of eucalyptus and other trees among the ruins. The Blue Eye is an unusual underwater spring where the clear blue water of the river bubbles forth from a stunning, more than fifty-meter-deep pool. Castle of Lekuresi which dates back to the 16th century features imposing round towers and sweeping views.

History buff hubby and I booked a custom tour. Our guide was amazing. She stuck through us making long videos, hiking, long drives and rain. She was so interested in history and really helped with information for his history videos. We went to gjorkastra, Antigonea and the thermal baths all in one day. With my husband's love for history this probably needed two days. However our guide was always enthusiastic and a real trooper. The driver drove flawlessly though heavy rain and dark. Not to mention lunch/dinner at a local spot was fantastic. I'd highly recommend the guides are fun and professional. This is the second time we've used this company. First was a transfer from triana to sarande also great experience. Thank you so so much for your long hours and patience. Vanessa and Ray

This 7 day tour aims to present Albanian cities/sites and objects, which fall under UNESCO protection. Albania counts several cities and objects that are part of our cultural heritage, so the value of this particular tour is of great cultural and archaeological importance. During the 7 day tour, you will explore the fabulous town of Berat (known as the city of the THOUSAND AND ONE WINDOWS), and Gjirokastra, the stone town that still fanatically fosters the tradition and culture of the country. You will also explore the ancient city of Butrint, which was proclaimed a museum in 1961, and in 1992 entered under the protection of UNESCO; The Blue Eye Natural Park; the fascinating old village of Qeparo, and enjoy free time on the lovely Himara beaches. Further on, you visit Përmet (known as the City of Roses), and we'll pass by Tepelena, with a visit of Ali Pasha Tepelena Castle.

Upon arriving to Saranda I knew I wanted to see more of the other locations outside of the general area. So, in loving the fine folks at Tea Tours, I opted to take a tour to Qeparo and Himara. I mean, you can't go wrong. An ancient village, reminiscent of what some movies are made of and the beautiful beach in Himara to enjoy after perusing Qeparo. And, Qeparo itself, set upon the top of a mountain, truly has some incredible photo opportunities to discover and capture. And the village, while barely inhabited by the locals, also has many opportunities to snap a great architectural photo. I do hope to tour a little more with Tea Tours, as everyone there is truly helpful, and kind. And, the guide, fantastic!

Into the land of tangerines closer to the ancient city of Butrint we organise the Mandarina Tour, a truly individually guided experience with local farmers and local dishes. Farmers will give us some basic information on how to collect the fruit, how to respect the processes involved and then take part in an age old tradition of picking the delicious fruit. We are two families that took our kids (3, 4, 5 and 6 years of age) on the sunset mussel tour. It was amazing! Mussels were the best! The fish was also amazing (for those that didn’t eat mussels). Soraldo our tour guide was very good and spoke good English. Our children had a fun time. The boat had shade and life jackets for adults and children. All round was a great authentic experience and would highly recommend. Great for families and very affordable.

Rando was a great driver, tour guide, restaurant guide, photographer, mentor. He went beyond on helping me find my luggage that was in the airport in Italy. He was by far the best tour leader/driver I’ve ever experienced in my travels over 57 countries. I was a little skeptical to travel during the pandemic but I’m so glad I did because everything went smoothly. I have already recommended Rando and Good Albania to several of my friends. I hope one day to return to Albania. Thank you Good Albania for the amazing memories!

Booked the tour last minute with Aria Travel and it was a great experience. My guide Gavi is very knowledgeable about the history and communicated it well. We started out early and had a little break at Belsh. I got to try the mountain tea. After the short break, we continued to Berat. It was lovely to see the Castle, the modern town, the Gori bridge and go up to houses to see how they were built in stacks. He recommended having lunch in Hotel Mangalemi. Good recommendation. The food was good and ok for the price. We left Berat and got to Apollonia before Sunset. He also presented the history of the Apollonia ruins and the church located inside. We left just at sunset. I definitely enjoyed the experience and went further to book more tours with Aria Travels.

I didn't have any expectations regarding Krujë, but the national museum Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu inside the castle felt very epic and turned out to be one my favorite ones so far in Albania. It amazes me how knowledgeable Andi is about everything you ask him, even specific details! We adjusted the itinerary a little bit on my request, which is always convenient if you're running out of time.
