The Holden Arboretum is 3,600 acres of the most beautiful gardens and natural areas in Northeast Ohio, including the Holden Wildflower Garden, featuring Ohio native plants; the Holden Butterfly Garden, which attracts hummingbirds and butterflies; the 20-acre Layer Rhododendron Garden and the 4.5 acre Paine Rhododendron Discovery Garden; and collections of lilacs, viburnums, crabapples and conifers. The Arboretum includes the Murch Canopy Walk and the Kalberer Emergent Tower, which are open from April 1 through Nov. 1. Guided walking tours of the grounds are available from April through May, and tram tours are available May through October. Winter activities include snowshoe hikes in January and February, weather permitting.

Lovely place to go for a hike . The tower and canopy tree walk were fun . Felt the canopy tee walk was a very short one . Don't forget to pay at the entrance if you would like to go to these two places . If you don't pay , you can go around the place and hike but I suggest paying and going to the two places .

Really enjoyed our stay at this campground while visiting Cleveland. It's only about 30 minutes away from downtown with the Rock Hall and West Side Market - both highly recommended. Full hookup sites are VERY limited but water and electric sites seem to be fairly plentiful. Lake across the road and being away from the city noise is excellent. It's on our must stay again location for anytime we're in the area.

We live in the town where Century Village is located. We attend most activities offered there. My children grew up going to pioneer school there. It's a great advantage to have this museum in our community. Schools come from far and wide. Civil War is the annual highlight but all activities are excellent family fun. Apple Butter Festival is yummy in autumn with freshly-made apple butter and kettle corn. Beautiful location year 'round. Worth a Sunday drive for families. Town also has restaurants and shops of interest.

Visit our family owned and operated chocolate shop located in a renovated century home in Geauga County, Ohio. Our chocolate kitchen is on the same property, located just behind the house. Our shop is filled with premium chocolates made fresh and in small batches. Novelty confections not readily found in other chocolate shops fill our shelves as well as the classic favorites, nut clusters, caramels, truffles, creams, jellies, and fudges. Our gift shop stocks Jim Shore, cards, and plush - something for everyone, but a must see for the Chocolate Lover.

went with family to this great park, got to go to an activity, that included learning about stars, planets, etc. The park naturalist, was very knowledgeable and kept all ages entertained! They have programs, all year long. Excellent hiking trails, and exhibits, along the trails. This is where park is located:

This 926 acre property provides loads of opportunities for all who enjoy the outdoors. Of course there is hiking, but there are also opportunities for fishing, canoeing, kayaking and boating! You can also access the Buckeye Trail and the Maple Highlands Trail, a great biking option. Our hiking group did a five-mile round trip hike utilizing some of the many available options. The Headwaters Boathouse, a reservable shelter, is a gorgeous gathering place, with an indoor fireplace, heat and electricity. Many outdoor picnic tables complement this space. This park is a great place for a hiking group to meet, or for a family gathering.

Hans and his wife Ann worked as a team in creating Middlefield Cheese, with Ann running the retail store, known today as the Rothenbuhler Cheese Chalet. Today, the company is led by the couple's son, John, who leads with the same passion and commitment to quality as his father. The Cheese Chalet offers a wide selection of meats and cheeses cut to order, fresh sandwiches, bakery items, local and gourmet products, and of course samples of our Swiss! The store has become a destination not to be missed-come by for a taste to see for yourself why!

As a life long resident of the Middlefield/Burton area, I was sadden to see the changes to Middlefield Cheese House especially its name change. Gone are the ladies who helped you with ordering your Christmas baskets. Gone is the charm of shop with its local products. A sure indication of the change can be seen in the Saturday morning parking lot, no cars.

I met friends here on a Friday night. We ate, drank wine and laughed! The entertainment was good and played a variety of songs. We very much enjoy coming here in the summer and sit out back in their new pavilion. The owners are very friendly and work very hard to make everyone feel welcome.

Nothing beats locally grown fresh apples like the ones at Sage's. All grown right there and delicious. Also lots of local jams, and other farm stuff like sweet corn in season and locally milled flours. Grocery store apples jsut aren't the same any more.

This is a great course. Excellent condition, although some of the tee boxes could stand to be leveled. Didn't seem as long as scorecard suggested, but there are some monster par 3s. Do not go in rough, ball impossible to find. Very fun, about half hour outside of Cleveland. No houses on course which is great. No water on course though, and grill basic.
