The Spreewald-Therme is our main reason to go in this region. The spa is great: the pools (with salty water) are nice and relaxing, the number and the diversity of the sauna are great.
It is a place to go again and again.
Unfortunately this is no longer a secret tip. So be patient to come in (or arrive early or very late in the day): they cleary manage the amount of persons inside, so after a while, one can only come in when another leaves.
Consequently it is never really overcrowed but you might wait around one hour to come in.

The place is a bit crowded during the summer however, it's a must do to jump onto one of the boats and cruise throught he channels of the Spreewald.

Wir haben diesen Park auf der Fahrradtour entdeckt. Schnell die Schuhe ausgezogen und ab ging es. Man konnte mit den Füßen verschiedene Untergründe fühlen, Gewichte heben und mit Kreide zeichnen. Nicht alles gelang auf Anhieb. Der Eintritt in den Park ist kostenlos. Es gibt einen Imbiss mit allerlei Angeboten.

It is a great feeling to stand on the water and explore the beautiful nature of Spreewald. There are many water ways through beautiful nature. No car. You can rent a boat, or bike, but most amazing thing is Stand Up Paddling!

Am Ende der Waldschlösschenstraße fanden wir das Bootshaus Rhenus und starteten von dort eine dreistündige Kanufahrt. Neben einer Kurzeinweisung erhielten wir auch hilfreiche Tipps zur Route und Tourenvorschläge.

We did not climb the stairs and therefore cannot tell anything about the view fro the top of the monument. It is a strange building with some nice ceramics in the hallway. That's all.

Freitag um 11 Uhr ging es bei schönstem Winterwetter zur Kahnfahrt durch die Fließe.
Mit kurzen Informationen zum Spreewald und den besonderen Gegebenheiten könnten wir gut 1 1/2 Stunden die Schönheit und Ruhe mit Kuscheldecke und Glühwein genießen.
Eisvogel und Nutria haben unseren Weg gekreuzt.
Die € 12,- Fahrtkosten sind es Wert

Extra hin fahren würde ich nicht. Wenn man vorbeifährt, ist es nett, sich das ganze anzuschauen und einige Fotos machen, wenn man möchte :)
