On my first vfisit a few weeks ago, the Centre was still closed due to Covid restrictions but still contactable electronically. The information booklet that I required was obtained from the Centre and left at Council Reception for collection. Thanks Sue, friendly and efficient service. Last week I called in to obtain additional information for a proposed WA trip, great selection available for my area of interest. Definitely worth visiting if a local or tourist to Bunbury.

Back Beach

Reviewed By 619jeffry - Essendon, Australia

Back Beach is one of this southern city's most popular beaches. It's great for paddling or swimming; you can also fish, and cook you catch on the BBQs. Back Beach is on Geographe Bay, named after the early French explorers. Bunbury is not known for its surf, so the attempt to create surfable waves with the Airwave project created interest.

Wonderful range of sweets. You’d be hard to please if you couldn’t find something to enjoy. Amongst the things we bought was the peanut brittle; best I’ve ever had. And the box of Fudgels we got for our daughter back home she described as “awesome”. After making our selection of sweets we finished up have thick shakes which were terrific. Highly recommend a visit.

If you love a beautiful walk, or you are a orchid enthusiast, or even wildflowers in general, Manea park is a beautiful place to walk around. Enjoy a peaceful stroll and enjoy the nature, you might even come face to face with a friendly kangaroo. It doesn't take overly long to walk the trail, but it will go quickly because you will enjoy the scenery along the way. here are some of my highlights from different times of the year
