Budva (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Будва, pronounced [bûːdv̞a] or [bûdv̞a]) is a Montenegrin town on the Adriatic Sea, former bishopric and present Latin Catholic titular see. It has around 14,000 inhabitants, and it is the centre of Budva Municipality. The coastal area around Budva, called the Budva riviera, is the center of Montenegrin tourism, known for its well-preserved medieval walled city, sandy beaches and diverse nightlife. Budva is 2,500 years old, which makes it one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic coast.

Kamenovo beach is a true pearl of the Montenegrin coast. It is located in a small, natural bay, between Becic and Przno away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The immediate hinterland of the beach is decorated with lush Mediterranean vegetation, which gives visitors the opportunity to quickly move from the beach to the nearby shade of this green oasis of peace. Since 2016. the beach was marked with “Blue flag”, award given for the highest quality of service. In 2019 the beach was officially proclaimed as the best beach in Montenegro.

This is one of the main and favourite beaches of Budva, consisting of two sandy beaches connected by a short tunnel. The beach is located about 100m west of the Old Town. It is very easy to reach through a well marked coastal path.

Within minutes by foot of old town Budva and the city centre. Crystal clear water, clean beach, def worth the detour. Mogren 2 was our favourite.

I walked through this beach to explore Old Town and later spent a leisurely evening sipping local wine paired with traditional dishes. It's fantastic location free from crowds in the evening. Semi circular coastline dotted with plenty of cafes and bars, enchanting views of distant mountains, glittering lights, soothing live music, all this is an wonderful gift of nature and most memorable. The busy Promenade of Budva is parallel to this coastline.
