Together they are referred to as the Bryan–College Station metropolitan area, which has a population of more than 250,000.

Messina Hof had humble beginnings as founders, Paul Vincent and Merrill Bonarrigo ran the lab, tastings, etc right out of their living room. Our current Tasting Room, also known as the Guest Center, was the rebuilt home that wa originally the Ursuline Academy, which was an all girls school. The original brick from the home was used to build the Tasting Room that guests can still see today.

The Messina Hoff winery is a must see for visitors to the area. The winery covers a large area and hosts community activities throughout the year. They have a lovely restaurant with great food and ambiance. Their wine selections are varied. They also have grape themed kitchen items for sale and confections and novelties containing wine.

It’s worth a trip to downtown Bryan to shop at Old Bryan Marketplace. The selection is great. Staff is very helpful and store is beautiful.
