We walked up from Highbury to the wind turbine and then across to the dome. It was a challenging but rewarding walk and we did with 10-12 year old children. It was exhilarating battling the wind that day

We had a gift voucher so traveled out from Upper Hutt. We saw an early movie which we enjoyed with a glass of wine on comfortable seats. We were then going to find somewhere for dinner, but decided to try the Cafe. I had a lovely lamb dish that was very tender and my hubby had a lovely vegetarian salad. We did not expect table service and ordered and paid for dinner at the counter. A delightful evening.
