The museum puts on special events during the holidays. The museum is closed during the Christmas holidays. Check the website for special events. 300 metres from the museum you can see one of the 6 forgotten giants, which is also worth a visit.

When we got to Thomas the winds really picked up along with a wild rain storm that blew in quickly. We were about to turn around but decided to walk for a few more minutes. I am so glad we did. LOVE all the Forgotten Giants! Worth spending the time to find them all! (Thomas was within walking distance of Little Tilde)
