What to do and see in Brasov, Transylvania: The Best Wine Tours & Tastings

December 6, 2021 Hector Krause

Smack in the center of Romania is Brasov, a harmonious mash-up of traditional charm and modern city life. Ride a double-decker bus around the city to get your bearings and see the sites whiz by, then hop off to squeeze down Strada Sforii, the narrowest street in Europe. Take a day trip to see the fortified church of Prejmer, the Libearty brown bear sanctuary, and the deliciously ominous Bran Castle, otherwise known as Dracula’s Castle.

I had my first hiking experience with their help. We have visited a place near Brașov that took my breath away. They made me feel like I was part of the team and made everything feel super easy. I was a bit scared about snakes and bears but I knew I'll be protected in case of anything. This is the first day after the experience but I already look for the following one. They are professional, super friendly and, most of all, interesting people from which you feel that you can learn a lot of things. I truly appreciate and recommend them.

Really enjoyable tour of the three castles. Our guide arrived exactly on time in a spotless, comfortable car. Very knowledgeable about the history of the region, the best photo spots and great conversationalist. All 3 castles very impressive, different and worth visiting. We arrived at the final castle to discover that my wife had left her bag (and passport ????) sitting on a wall at the last castle. Not only did he drive straight back, he called his brother, who lived nearby, to see if he could get there before someone took it. The brother retrieved bag and passport and the trip continued like nothing happened. He didn't even ask for any additional payment for the considerable detour. Absolute gent. If he is representative of the company, would highly recommend!
