Played as a single this morning at 8:30am (played it in 3 hours). Had watched the YouTube videos on it to become familiar with the course, pro shop people were very nice, course was laid out interestingly, excellent condition, green speed was great and rolled smoothly (moderate speed), chipping area around greens mowed perfectly. The only complaint I would have is that players need to do better at repairing their pitch marks. Plenty of uneven lies in the fairway which made things interesting. If I lived here, I’d play this course regularly. Plenty of par 3’s to sharpen your iron play. Very fair and fun short par 66 course. You’ll have a great time!

Great Layout interesting and challenging., Course was in immaculate condition. Be sure to stay in the fairway but they are generous. CPO today and lots of hills to walk up, down or play side hill lies, Played the combo tees at 5877 yds. Greens were true and fast. This course is a keeper.

Buffalo Ridge Golf Course

"Matching the beauty of Top of the Rock is the Tom Fazio designed Buffalo Ridge Springs Course (formerly Branson Creek Golf Club). Already acclaimed as the region’s top golf course, Buffalo Ridge has been transformed by the guiding hands of visionary conservationist Johnny Morris and renowned golf course architect Tom Fazio. Adding new approaches, water features and bunkers, Morris and Fazio have redesigned the course layout to bring players in close contact with nature, native grasses and free-ranging buffalo from nearby Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. The course has been rated the #1 Public Course in Missouri by Golf Magazine and has been named one of the Top 10 Missouri Courses by Golf Digest since 2001. The course holds a Golf Digest rating of 4.5 stars out of 5."

Played this course few days ago and experience was as pleasant as before. Great course and layout. Conditions were excellent. Staff from top down was friendly, informative and helpful. Went out of their way to make the day fun and exciting. Course is very challenging, so make sure you select the correct tees to play. More than one signature hole within the 18. Holes 2 and 8 on the front and holes 12, 14 and 18 on the back. Scenery is beautiful throughput the course. I wrote a review a year ago and will state again, Johnny Morris, of Bass Pro Shop and Big Cedar fame is turning Branson into a great golf destination. Once Payne’s Valley, a Tiger Wood’s design is complete this fall, thee will be five great golf options just within the Big Cedar family. Treat yourself to some great golf in the Branson area. You will not be disappointed. As a PGA professional I have had a chance to play a number of great courses and resorts across the country and this area and quality of courses and level of service will stack up to any.

We stayed at this location over spring break. It was a fabulous trip and the resort was incredible. They are very careful in following cleaning and distancing protocols. The resort is very family oriented with daily activities planned, a huge indoor pool, and a fabulous game room! Our son enjoyed all the amenities. We especially enjoyed the extensive movie collection to borrow from and us in our room and the movie theatre on-site! The staff were very welcoming and quickly got to know us during our stay. They were always ready with a welcome and to help us have the best vacation! We are already looking for a reason to come back!
