Beautiful grounds and buildings. Farmers market (limited dates) was very interesting with many types of foods to sample and buy. Outdoor market was primarily veggies. An alternate area was available to get information on the grounds and activities for the environment. Also had hiking and bicycle paths. Would be very nice to go spring or early fall. I think tours are available by reservation.

Top notch entertainment for reasonable prices. Can't beat the shows, but their new programs are really fun. Their Tuesdays with Stories programs are held at 12 and 7 and examine books and have a one-person interpreter who acts out some of the scenes...followed by a Q and A with the artist. At lunch there are small snacks with a $5.00 lunch available for preordering. In the evening there is wine and cheese between the presentation and the Q and A. Another fun program is their Club 28 which is a cozy, on-the-state cabaret style performance. The performer/s sit facing the audience, while the guests are on stage at small cabaret style tables for 4 and you are right up close and personal with the artist. For the 12 o'clock performance there are small snacks, but for the evening performance there is wine, soda, water, and cookies with snacks on the table. Each ticket entitles the bearer to 2 free alcohol drinks...wine or beer...and the soda, water, and cookies are on the house. Attendee all comment on how cozy and nice this experience is! It's great entertainment with a nice atmosphere.

I enjoyed playing Neshanic Valley. It was my first trip to the area and I paired up with a twosome. We played a four hour round on Saturday late morning. That's pretty good. Course is very interesting. Greens were great. I'll definitely come back.

We've only been once but had a ton of fun and will definitely be back. Staff was a little rude (acted super annoyed when we asked questions about pricing and how it all worked) but we didn't have to interact with them at all after that and had a really good time! They have so many games!!

Take a walk through the park any time of the year. We went in early March and enjoyed a brisk walk on the path. Midway, the park was quiet and peaceful. The scenery is an interesting break from the hustle bustle of the city.

Profeta Farms

Reviewed By njdogdad - New Jersey

We have been shopping at the farm store ever since they opened up. It is amazing the variety of products they have in this small "barn". Beef, pork, chicken, veggies, fresh dairy and so much more. Vastly superior quality than any grocery store. Our trips to a regular grocery are down to maybe once every 6 weeks. And they are expanding into a new big BARN.

The purpose of this review though is really about the food truck. Gotta be the best burgers, fries and shakes anywhere around here. They are in a class to themselves! You can place your order and then go into the retail farm market while you are waiting for your order. The other day I placed a take out order, picked up some ribs, bacon, london broil and some vegetables. Went back to the food truck just as my order was being boxed up. And speaking about boxing, they use those really good containers that are not going to leach chemicals into your food.

The folks that work there are very friendly and extremely knowledgable. We are really looking forward to August/September when the new facility opens up!

Northlandz

Home of the world's largest model railroad, Northlandz also offers a 94 room dollhouse, art galleries and a massive pipe organ.

Reviewed By LPMiddlesexNJ - Middlesex, New Jersey

My wife and I took our granddaughters (age 10 & 12) to Northlandz. I notice that some of the other reviewers were giving Northlandz low ratings. I disagree with them. If you know anything at all about building model train layouts you will find Northlandz to be outstanding. The train layouts in themselves are amazing for kids. No it is not Minecraft or some other app or video game. So if you expect your kids to be dazzled by modern cell phone phenomena don't bother going. Also it is a little used, the carpets are not brand new, the bathrooms are not new but they certainly are okay (not what some of the other reviewers are saying). Northlandz is well worth the admission. Also, we went on the Sunday a week before Christmas 2017. The parking lot was full. If you like model trains please go.

My wife and I recently checked out this Preserve for a place to walk our dog. This is a nice looking park with plenty of short and long hiking trails our dog would love. There is an open field area and a small fishing pond. They provide doggie bags at the trail head just in case you don’t bring your own, which you should. You can see a trail map near the trail head and parking lot area. There’s plenty of space to park and they do have several port a toilets. Dogs need to be leashed.
