Cementerio Santa Cruz de Manga

Reviewed By hughg785 - Saint Thomas, Canada

before you go there is a good article by- glen david short- that is worth a read. the cemetery is in manga, which is a safe easy walk from the walled city. overall the cemetery is in poor condition. there are some beautiful monuments that make for great pictures, but most of the graves and parts of the surrounding wall show signs of significant deterioration. there are some graves that have exposed bones and many simple graves that have a name written with a finger in the wet cement. we walked around for about an hour and took it all in. it was a strange and sombre experience, but one that left a lasting impression on me. worth a visit

Las Bovedas

We hired a professional photographer and chose to meet at this place to take portraits. Made for beautiful backgrounds from anywhere. We enjoyed shopping for souvenirs of all kinds and Colombian emeralds. Lots of shops and very laid back.
