Tarsier is the name of monkeys so nice and wonderful monkeys, unfortunately it’s is less monkeys left because of the earth quake.... I do hope it will be there for Many years to come.....

The equestrian centre has an Olympic sized dressage arena and a 15 meter covered round arena for all weather riding. One of our favorite places to visit in the Philippines was for sure Panglao, and especially the Donatela Hotel (Tarsier Botanika). We had such a great time. The hotel was built with nature in mind, and you experience that everywhere around you. Nestled in a natural landscape of 7,5 hectare of botanical gardens, the private villas are a dream ❤ They are designed to give privacy, luxury and space for the guests, and they for sure do. Each villa has it’s own private garden, and we have for sure used it. One of the afternoons we decided to have a long picnic with lots of food. The staff was very happy to help us with the set up and arranged all the food. There were pastries, fresh fruit, sandwiches and a fresh coconut. We also really like the design of the villas. It is based on the traditional Ifugao Tribal House concept found in the northern part of the Philippines, which gives a really cozy natural touch to the resort. Since few of the villas has it’s own private pool (!), the main pool was not crowded at all during our stay. We had so many chances to be absolutely alone at the huge pool, with a bar and very good wifi. While chilling at the pool, you hear lots of great birds. We walked around the property to see where the noises came from, and we found a mini zoo. With lots of rescued animals, as cats, a bearcat, parrots and lots of other birds. Really awesome! When you are visiting Panglao, you need to check out Donatela Hotel (Tarsier Botanika). The resort also boasts a fine dining restaurant, wine room, and a variety of activities, such as horseback riding, and spa treatments, apart form the tours and attractions of the island.

At Habitat Bohol in Bilar Bohol, (formally Simply Butterflies), you will find a free guided tour around an open natural butterfly garden where almost 200 species of Bohol butterflies have been recorded flying free in the garden. The tour also includes a display area for educational purposes and small butterfly enclosure for a close encounter with the local butterflies. Habitat Bohol is the only dual type butterfly conservation garden in Bohol. Our restaurant is open serving affordable tasty dishes, along with a selection of vegetarian dishes. The butterfly center is lovely to visit and the guides are very knowledgeable about all things Butterfly! We saw Fruit Bats sleeping, Caterpillars, Pupae and other interesting creatures during our visit. Super cheap and well worth a visit. **We also booked a night safari tour through the center, which was an absolutely amazing experience. We were taken, just after nightfall, for a walk/mild trek through jungle nearby to the center and shown animals by torchlight along the way (Fireflies, Monkeys, Bats, Centipedes, Millipedes, Tarantulas/ other spiders, Frogs, tiny Snakes....). Our experience was only made better by the fact there were only 4 people, including ourselves, on the safari. Our guides were fantastic and enthusiastic, giving us so much interesting information. Would highly recommend!
