Pulpit Rock Lookout

This is one of the best vantage points for scenic views across Grose Valley, taking in Blue Gum Forest and Govetts Leap in Blue Mountains National Park. There are many signposts to give you guidance which trail to take, their difficulty of grade, length and distance. Birding is quite good here too. Don't forget to bring your camera! Free admission.

Anvil Rock Lookout

Stumbled onto this gem after travelling out to Pulpit (which was closed). This and the Wind Eroded Cave were great. So remote and untouched by the tourist masses that a resident snake even came out to greet us on the way back down.

Lincoln's Rock

What a find (goggle 20 best lookouts in the Blue Mountains). We drove to the parking area then walked about 100 metres to the lookout - it is breath taking. There are not barriers so if you have children hold on to them. Sunset is an amazing time to visit and the photos opportunities are wonderful. Quite a few people at this time but so worth it and everyone took their photos and moved on. We waited until almost dusk and had the place to ourselves.

Hanging Rock

I have walked out to hanging rock before, today i decided to ride. Even thkugh its wintwr there were flowers to see. In waratah season it must blaze with colour all along the walk as there are so many plants. It was a lot more fun on the pushbike. The track is a firetrail, so wide and solid but enough dips and little rocks to make you pay attention. Im not the fittest person but managed it all well enough. The walk down from the lookout to hanging rick is a but tricky but if you take your time its well worth it.
