Anchor D Outfitting

My boyfriend, my 2 daughters and I went for a 2 hour trail ride here. My daughters had both done some lessons so they were not scared of the horses. However my youngest does have a phobia of wasps. There was talk about some ground nests that we would avoid on the trails and suddenly my daughter was terrified. About 10 minutes into the trail ride, she was still crying on her horse and I was almost ready to ask to go back to the barn with her when Brook, one of the guides, rode up to my daughter and started chatting with her. She told my daughter she knows where all the ground nests are and that we'd be sure to avoid them. Not to worry. She then started asking her a bunch of questions and my daughter soon forgot her wasp worries and was gabbing away with Brook for most of the trail ride! So between the incredible horses they have, the beautiful trails and scenery, and the amazing staff, especially Brook, I would highly recommend Anchor D Outfitting!!!

Untouched natural area by the river. No real paths so you have to make your own. The Sheep river as well as a creek runs through the area. I have heard the fishing is hit and miss. It's not easy to access, nor is there any places to have a picnic lunch or a sit down.
