My family and I decided to book the Mallorca Wine Train Tour and contacted Miriam to arrange. The tour exceeded our expectations, Miriam our guide talked about each of the bodegas we visited with a wealth of knowledge, her passion about the local wine was clear to see which made our day a wonderful experience. I can't rate this tour highly enough, thank you Miriam you are a credit to the Malloran tourist industry. Thanks again Wendy Worrall

Castell d Alaro

We walked up from Orient. Not only is the walk good (though strenuous) and the views superb but right at the top is a little café in a glorious location. How they built all the buildings up there is a mystery but the day to day needs are all brought up by mule (so £1.50 for a Twix bar is actually good value).

Inca Market

Take a morning out to visit this market if you get the chance! While driving through the streets trying to find somewhere to park you can see stalls down pretty much every street!
We found an underground multi story car park right in the centre which was not an all expensive.
The market is great with a bit of everything for everyone! Mainly leather goods like handbags, belts and accessories, but a lot of clothing both traditional and modern.
Be prepared to haggle! It's all part of the experience and I managed to save a few quid!

You think an orange is an orange and the same for a lemon..think again...very educational and enjoyable stroll through the orchards of this producer. Modern toilet facilities, excellent fresh orange juice and Mallorcan bread/tomato/olive oil snack at the end of the tour. Ate a persimmon...ever done that? Surprising tourist hit and worth the short walk from centre of Soller.

And that was despite a toothache :) What a great centre from astronomy in Mallorca, congratulations on running a great scientific and academic resource there.
