The Cathedral is very high and the exterior also looks very nice. The interior didn't impress me so much. Located in a large square it is definitely a wonderful occasion to observe while rela0ing in one of the nearest cafe.

Obiteljski Podrum Szabo is a family owned winery, and the two daughters have excellent English proficiency, university education, vineyard, and marketing skills.
Our group purchased several bottles of wine, and enjoyed the wine in a few minutes at a nearby restaurant.
We strongly recommend a winery tour.

A 500 m stroll along the 14 lovely wood carving stations of the Calvary leads you to a large Christ statue and a view that is well worth the pleasant uphill walk.
Aljmaš lies at the estuary of two major rivers, the Dráva and Danube. Seeing the whole village and the swollen Danube below us is breathtaking.

Simple but self explanatory, car looks in better condition than when it was built?. Seriously though, it is an excellent monument to represent a single action amongst many of the brave people who were resisting another attempt to suppress their freedom

Our river cruise operator included a tour stop here to hear a recital by 2 very gifted musicians who made the experience very enjoyable. The structure for the church is ultra-modern and may not (to our narrow minds) fit into the neighboring area all too well but, change is good (or so they say?) and the stop was pleasant.

Portanova

Portanova is Osijek's newest and most exciting shopping destination. There are two floors of shopping units which include more than 100 brand names, a hypermarket, entertainment venues such as multiplex cinema and bowling plus numerous restaurants and cafes and plenty of car parking spaces. Portanova or “new door” is an entirely new entrance to the city, but also the entrance to a new world of friendship, fun and enjoyable atmosphere..
