As one can see from the picture, this is a nice historic gate. The inside is also worth a look, with some original inscriptions in the prison's original woodwork, made by prisoners. The personnel is very friendly and willing to explain. If you go to Bergen op Zoom, it's well worth adding this place to your list of things to do. I'd first go to the marquis' palace though. I was there in August 2014 (not November, but I could not select that far back in time).

Enjoy the SkyShark Experience! You roll around your axis and turn. You can do the craziest stunts with the Skyshark. Tell the pilot what you like and the pilot will take it into account. Do you like a quiet ride, medium or do you want to go crazy over the water? It is up to you! You do not have to worry about wet clothes because the cabin stays 100% dry inside. The cockpit is also heated.

Amazing experience with a shark type submarine reaching a stunning speed. Never seen a ship like this I never have heard of it. It is a great way to go submarine and a real adventure. Even I have taken my kids for a ride. They got the time of their life.
The boat is jumping rolling and playing in the water and I was lucky with the most experienced pilot
Afterwards they provide videos and. Photos. I will add them to this review as soon I am in the office.

The church is in the center of town, a bit hidden away you will find the main entrance on the main square. When this entrance is closed do go to the side, because that entrance is open during the visitor hours. The church is not huge, but it has some nicely decorated grave monuments, chapels and windows. It is not the nicest church that I have seen in the Netherlands, but it is worth a visit when you are in town.

Klimbos Brabantse Wal

The sky’s the limit at the Brabantse Wal Klimbos (Treetop Adventure Park) from April to October. Whether you go for a family day, a singles party with friends or organise a children’s party, the many different woodland climbing packages will guarantee a great day out for everyone. Climbing up to a height of eighteen metres, swinging between the trees; you are bound to get an adrenaline rush. Located in wonderful woodland surroundings, it combines well with a mountain bike or walking trip, and with the Stayokay Bergen op Zoom youth hostel as a neighbour - you could call it the town’s living room where many international groups stay – you are bound to have a lively time. Striking countryside The Treetop Adventure Park is located right on the Brabantse Wal, an area that is popular with walkers, cyclists, horse riders and (water) sports enthusiasts. Most noticeable in this protected natural area is the steep ledge that forms an abrupt connection between the higher sandy soil and the clay polder below. There are great views here, while you can also enjoy the beautiful listed buildings in the historical centre of Bergen op Zoom. And if you long for more countryside, just east of the Brabantse Wal is the cross-border Zoom-Kalmthoutse Heide national park, with ponds, sand drifts, heathland, dunes and extensive woods. “Painful muscles but it was really cool” The Treetop Adventure Park offers various packages for groups and schools, for children from seven years of age. You can book packages online for a maximum of fifteen people, if the group is larger please make contact first. The TÜV accredited climbing adventure offers 100 combinations ranging in difficulty and height. Instruction can be given in different languages if required, something appreciated by a previous visitor: “Great routes, professional leadership, lots of patience shown by the staff. Highly recommended, we’ll be back!” So come and challenge yourself at the Brabantse Wal Treetop Adventure Park, where the sky ‘s the limit..!

After having done a number of GoApe's in the UK we decided to take this climbing experience while in the area. We were very pleasantly surprised. It's pretty much the same as GoApe but different nevertheless. We feel both companies have something to learn from each other but that does not matter though in the experience. COOL! Do it, I never done any till this year and am hooked now on this fun activity! It's active, it's fun, it's balancing, it's just a great few hours off your rear end and in the tree tops!
What stands out on this one is the variety in the courses. Also the last one being ZIP only from tree to tree, fabulous! There is one hiccup though, on one of the courses there is a difficult ladder followed by a mini wall climb. Great fun, but it's a hold up as it takes a considerable time for many and some turn back even finding it too much of a challenge.
For the operators : I would recommend to use a different style of hookup on this one particularly, use fall arrest gear rather then the hook on hook off hook on system (which actually is for each ladder).
