We really had a great time and opportunity to enjoy the nature from the different perspective. We were not sure to go with the young son of 8 years old, but the operator
includes him in his canoe. See the photo. My and my daughter took the individual canoe.

Stopped here for lunch. The corn frittata and ginger beer were good. Interesting birds, including a kuckaburra were nearby stealing snacks from the tables. Visited the shops in the nearby courtyard - mostly new age/artisan type and a really good furniture shop with African type nick nacks.

What a wonderful trail we had with the family (children 7 and 8) over the xmas period. Our riding experience was mixed and we were well catered for.
The team are very professional and friendly from the staff at the office, through to the stables hands and trail guides. The horses are well maintained and kept, and the scenery wonderful.

Spent a great morning strolling the 'hundreds' of stalls. Food; crafts; massage; hats; decorative items; plants etc. you get the picture but seriously a huge number and variety.

Diggers Tavern

Reviewed By kjbMirani - Brisbane Region, Australia

Had dinner here on a Friday night during our road trip. It's popular with the locals with most tables in the bistro taken, and the bar quite busy. It's typical club food with good prices and serving sizes. Our chicken schnitzel ($19.50) and seafood basket ($21) were both nice and large, served with a nice salad that actually had some thought put into it. The seafood was fresh, not out of a packet and the chips with both meals were great. There's plenty to choose from at the bar and the prices were ok there too; $12 for a bourbon and coke and a schooner of beer. Parking is outside on the street; hold your breath past the smokers sitting outside the front door. Staff were friendly.

Bathed in Sunshine this fantastic and well planned community garden is a must see while in Bellingen. The layout allows visitors to early stroll amongst a food forest where there is more sensory plants that the eyes can see. They are all around, below and above wiTh birds and insects cohabiting amongst the greenery.
Touching smelling and tasting most of the greenery is a must, and allow visitors to get a feel of what may work on their own patch of ground. The local community and volunteers have really done this site justice.
Make a donation is voluntary but within you would feel much happiness....

I decided to buy special gifts for my daughters that I had seen on Facebook. Mars was very helpful and nothing was a trouble to her. Even when I changed my mind after ordering Mars adjusted the order to please me. I received by post very quickly my order at least under a week. As I live in the back blocks of Victoria I was very impressed with time fram. The goods ordered were of the highest quality. Well done. I only wish I lived closer I would be in the shop regularly.
