The elephant stable is located in the area that lies just outside the Zenana Enclosure..it is a historical place..The ancient stable is a major attraction among the tourists even today.

2 storied building, with intricate architecture resembling a Lotus. It's said this was the resting/socializing place for the Royal women of the kingdom. One of the most beautifully preserved buildings in Hampi !
