Dedicated golfers will like this course. It is challenging but not impossible, it's a real experience for visitors. The Victoria Gold Club is a sandbelt course, beware of the sandtraps.

Royal Melbourne is a championship course. The club was founded in 1891, and is known as "sandbelt course.". It has hosted many Australian and international tournaments. Royal Melbourne is a private club, but it has reciprocal arrangdments with other clubs overseas. The dress code is sensiible and not out of line with normal golf wear.
