Specializing in back roads adventures to "Parts Unknown", meeting the rural locals and family farms for a close-up encounter with the animals. Tasting all the way...wineries, cheese factories, home-baked goods, craft breweries, locally-made chocolates, farm fresh veggies, honey and cider on a hilltop orchard with an outdoor pizza oven. Nature and birding tours, especially during migration and photography, outdoors and indoor one-on-one tutoring. Guide Phil Norton has led photography adventures to all corners of North America as well as throughout Ontario and Quebec since 2012. He will introduce you to the owners of the wineries and farms whom he counts as friends and to the hidden charms, like waterfalls, that are not on the tourist maps!

Phil took 6 of us on a wonderful half day tour of the County! We live in the County ( and had two couples visiting who have been here before) so it added a challenge to Phil planning his itinerary for us. We wanted the truly off the beaten path tour, and Phil delivered!!! We visited a wonderful, interesting ( off the beaten path) artist in his studio, saw snow volcanoes, held baby goats, picked up fresh eggs and honey, enjoyed cheese, chocolate and one wine stop. Travelled beautiful roads with Phil adding just the right amount of commentary. It was a thoughtful, well-planned excursion and we highly recommend Phil, who added depth and dimension for our guests while allowing us to relax and enjoy new experiences too. Thank you Phil!!!

It is so large & safe for the children as it is shallow for a long ways. Bring chairs & umbrellas & sunscreen.
