This was my second visit here (see 9-5-18 review), and it's still an interesting shop to browse. My spouse accompanied me this time, and though neither of us smoke, it is an interesting view into an area of life many people enjoy. As before, the staff person was was friendly and informative, as were several of the patrons. And once again, it was an enjoyable experience.

Bay Antique Center

This is a huge warehouse packed full of stuff. Antiques and collectables ranging from 20 years all the way up to 200 years (my opinion). I have, on more than one occasion, found a piece of furniture here to round out a room or provide me with a functional piece that I would rather not buy from box store like Art Van Furniture. If you collect stamps, jars, toys, signs...the list is extensive and the selection of things available cannot begin to be covered in a mere review like this. Plan to spend a couple hours here because even when you go through once, you will probably want to go through again - especially if there is something specific you are looking for.

HUGE! Place. Made the trip to Bay City just to go here and it was worth it. This place is huge with 3 floors. Can spend hours here! Be sure to ask at the front desk about a parking pass. I had inquired about if we needed to go out and move our truck after 2 hrs as all parking signs said 2 hr parking only...and the front desk offered me a parking pass to put in our vehicle that was for unlimited parking that day. Awesome! We spent several hours here looking at all the great stuff. Then had a late lunch and walked to some other stores and shops in the area. Very nice day away!

City Market

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, City Market is strongly focused on bringing local, farm-fresh, healthy options to the community—thus addressing the “food desert” or non-existence of quality grocery and produce in Downtown Bay City. We truly believe in supporting local farmers and knowing where food comes from! City Market also provides the community with a few places to get quality treats and snacks, as well as Michigan-themed products including clothing and crafts.

This is a nice sized market; in downtown Bay City, across from the Wirt library. (It is closed Sunday & Monday). The facility is clean and well maintained; with a wide variety of options from which to choose. The staff/owners were friendly and accommodating. There are vendors for BBQ, pizza, coffee, cookies, desserts, flowers, meats, produce etc., etc... One can snack/eat there; and/or take out for later consumption. All and all; an interesting place to visit, if one is exploring the downtown area.
