Was a little sceptical about this tourist option, but we needed to pass some time. However the tour of the building well exceeded expectations! The guided tour is only in French but they gave us English guide books that were fine. The design, furniture and decor inside the many rooms of the Chateau are exceptional. Very pleased with our visit!

We had a lovely stay at Château d'Urtubie where we stayed two nights. The castle and its surroundings (garden, Orangerie) are extremely well maintained. Our host was very welcoming, full of local recommendations for restaurants and it was a pleasure to learn from him the history of this place. Nous avons passé deux très belles nuits au château d'Urtubie. Le château et son domaine (jardin, orangerie) sont extrêmement bien entretenus. Notre hôte fut très accueillant, plein de recommandations sur les restaurants locaux et c'était un plaisir de l'écouter nous raconter l'histoire du château et du domaine
