What to do and see in Barrio de Salamanca, Community of Madrid: The Best Lessons & Workshops

October 30, 2021 Cedrick Jardin

So many of Madrid’s buildings look like castles, you’ll think you’ve stumbled into a fairytale. Even City Hall is astounding, with its white pinnacles and neo-Gothic features. A self-guided architecture tour can begin by the great bear statue in the central Puerta del Sol. Wander by the fanciful Royal Palace before absorbing the natural beauty of Retiro Park, then visit one of the city’s many museums. You could happily cap off each day by nibbling on forkfuls of paella while sipping Spanish rioja.

LAE Madrid Aventura Espanola

LAE Madrid (La Aventura Espanola) is a quality Spanish school in Madrid, accredited by the Instituto Cervantes. This is the highest accreditation for a Spanish school and is recognised across the world. LAE Madrid is found right in the centre of Madrid, in the Salamanca neighbourhood, and the school offers all types of Spanish courses, individually or in groups: Spanish intensive courses, Spanish semi-intensive courses, part-time Spanish courses, Spanish courses for DELE preparation, online Spanish courses, super intensive Spanish courses, courses in business Spanish, individual classes, Spanish classes and work experience in a company, or a combination of the individual classes and intensive courses. We also have a Spanish Academy for Kids. We also offer courses that are eligible for student visas, if you are looking to be in Madrid for an extended period of time. Our Spanish classes are very dynamic and focus on communication and fluency. Our teachers use innovative methods, with as little use of text books as possible. The Spanish courses are in small groups, with an average of students per group, allowing you to get to know your classmates and to practice as much as possible. The Spanish courses are combined with cultural activities 3 times a week so that you can learn about the Spanish culture and see Madrid with native speakers. Our activities also help to make sure that you are completely immersed in the language throughout your experience in Madrid, to make your Spanish advance as quickly as possible, as well as giving you more hours to practice with your teachers at the same time as getting to know the other students at the school. LAE Madrid prides itself on its community and our customer service. We go above and beyond to make sure that our students improve their Spanish, enjoy their Spanish experience and feel at home in our school. We offer free tea and coffee and fruit around the school, as well as wifi and many areas for you to relax. Our staff will always be ready to help you with whatever problem or unexpected query that you might have, from the moment you first get in touch, until you finish your journey with Spanish and Spain - we will always be here to help you out with any questions or doubts. LAE Madrid also offers other services such as housing, airport collection, sorting out mobiles or trips across Spain. Depending on your own needs we can offer you housing in shared flats, student residences, host families or studio flats.

I had private lessons with Adriana and we had the best time! Not only did I improve my Spanish but I gained a new friend. I'll be forever grateful for the laughs and good times we shared. Such a wonderful experience. I also worked with Martin extensively about things related to visa renewal and they were INCREDIBLE! Super flexible and accommodating. I highly recommend this place. Also their location is fantastic. It's super close to the Retiro Park and all the awesome things to see and do in Madrid. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
