This is a nice beach for kids, as the water is calm and warm during the summer. It is however (and maybe because of those qualities) extremely busy. Go during the week but avoid weekends!!!! Too many people around. Butvthe place is very nice and beatiful.

Tabuleiro Beach

Reviewed By agilberttx - Barra Velha, SC

Tabuleiro Beach is several kilometers long, with numerous life-guard stations and a nice, long sidewalk along the beach for strolling. The sand is generally moderately wide and finer than that of the Central Beach, making for a more pleasant "sand in the toes" experience. It is not a particularly good Surfing beach, but usually there are those trying. The palm trees planted along the beach add a bit of a romantic touch. This beach is the favorite of the locals.
