Bardez is the name of a region and taluka in North Goa. The name is credited to the Brahmin immigrants who migrated to the Konkan via Magadha in Gangetic India from Āryāvarta, in the north-western part of the Indian sub-continent. Bardez or more properly Bara (twelve) desh (country) means "twelve countries" (or lands). The form "country" probably refers to clan territorial limits, or to the Brahmin comunidades, of which the twelve, in no particular order, are Aldona, Moira, Olaulim, Nachinola, Siolim, Anjuna, Candolim, Serula, Saligao, Sangolda, Assagao and Pomburpa

My favorite market in Goa. Its huge! So many stalls selling everything from clothes, leather goods, crystals & stones, everything Indian you can think of. Right near the beach with little bars & restaurants. Ideal for gifts & a day of shopping. Highly recommend a visit.

Anjuna ! this will be always a trance lovers paradise, come at night for best underground trance scene in goa , be it UV bar , pirates, shiva valley or curlies. have been visiting each year since 2010. you know what to have to do to get the best of anjuna experience

We visited Candolim beach with our kids. It’s indeed a splendid experience where we saw Dolphins, travelled to island, saw the Portuguese fort and prisons, had mouth-watering sea food dishes. We all had a very pleasant and joyful day by playing almost 4 hours in the beach along with our kids. The whole day spent on this beach was a memorable one and we returned to our resort only in the night. We recommend every tourist who is visiting South Goa should not miss this heavenly place where All ages can completely be mesmerised.

This private residence is visible while on a boat ride in the area. The view looked familiar as the hindi movie "Haseena Maan Jaayegi" had a few scenes here.

Just like my title reads, you will enjoy the park as though you've never been to a waterpark before... You can go on the rides as many times as you want! as compared to big parks where you have to waste half your time in a que The park is beautiful! They've taken good care of the garden, and the trees. And it's absolutely clean (obv of the other guests don't dirty it). The pricing is very reasonable.. it is 440+tax which comes to 520 per person 420 for children below 4 feet, and you can spend as much time as you want from 10.30am to 6pm There are about 5 big water slides, 12 smaller ones for kids and smaller use, a rain dance, some smaller attractions, swimming pool, and one zip line hang glider ride, which lets you glide above the entire park. At the time I went there wasn't much crowd.. so I could use the rides as many times as I wanted. Everything is available at the park.. there are swimming costumes on rent or u can buy. But I suggest if you have a swimsuit, please bring it they are strict about wearing nylon only. There is a Bar and restraunt serving everything from Chinese to Indian to Biryani to pizza for very reasonable prices... With Rs250 you should be able to have a filling meal (excluding drinks). The best place to watch Dolphins and kids will really enjoy it. If you are visiting Goa, don't miss it. Boat guy will charge Rs.300 per person (below 5 yrs is free) and total trip will take around 1 hour. They will also show you the old central jail and few bungalow's around.
