What to do and see in Barcelona, Catalonia: The Best Wine Bars

December 16, 2021 Lashaunda Abraham

Barcelona feels a bit surreal – appropriate, since Salvador Dali spent time here and Spanish Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí designed several of the city’s buildings. Stepping into Gaudí’s Church of the Sacred Family is a bit like falling through the looking glass - a journey that you can continue with a visit to Park Güell. Sip sangria at a sidewalk café in Las Ramblas while watching flamboyant street performers, then create your own moveable feast by floating from tapas bar to tapas bar.

My second visit here and the only disappointment is the lack of tourists, which obviously has nothing to do with the business. The first visit I had was first class, this one a little more low key. Not to worry, I enjoyed a Praga unfiltered, quite strong and one I'll avoid in future, and a very good "Big bear", a pale ale that is very morish and would sell all over the world ???? I prefer to sit inside here and enjoy the music

I have no painting experience and amazed how I was able to create such a piece. Bruce teach you basic techniques and gives you creative freedom. I decides to do a painting different from the class and successfully finish. Snacks and wine was delicious . Three hours went by so quick and I wanted to do another session . The wonderful thing is each class is a different artwork, If I ever return to Barcelona I would definitely book three or more sessions. Alisa and Bruce made painting a fun, and sociable activity.

I had seen this place on Instagram and wanted to go with my husband on a recent trip to Barcelona, it did not disappoint. The staff are very knowledgeable about their wines and recommendations, and it’s a great place to just sit and chill out of an afternoon with a glass of cava. Will definitely be going again ????
