What to do and see in Barcelona, Catalonia: The Best City Tours

April 17, 2022 Malia Yoakum

Barcelona feels a bit surreal – appropriate, since Salvador Dali spent time here and Spanish Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí designed several of the city’s buildings. Stepping into Gaudí’s Church of the Sacred Family is a bit like falling through the looking glass - a journey that you can continue with a visit to Park Güell. Sip sangria at a sidewalk café in Las Ramblas while watching flamboyant street performers, then create your own moveable feast by floating from tapas bar to tapas bar.

I definitely recommending this company and this tour as they are very welcoming and doing a job professionally, During a Pandemic (COVID-19) we have been on a business trip in Spain, France and we have had some free days, so it was interesting for us to able to do this tour or not? We have contacted this company and from the first, we received lots of accurate and to the date information about how to traveling in pandemic in Spain, what documents shall we carry on and … They car was extremely clean and leggy, with safety partition and for keeping the risk as low as possible, they were only us in the car and it was completely private tour. The tour was fantastically organized, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and always wearing a mask and we were finding that he is customizing a tour based on our interests. Extremely worthwhile and unique experience and hope this pandemic ended up soon and everybody can travel easily in the world like before .

This is going to be a much delayed review and for that I am sorry. We used the service in September 2019 during our first Mediterranean cruise. It was our first big trip and I wanted my husband to LOVE the experience so I worked at finding providers that exceeded all expectations. Barcelona Day Tours did that for us. Communication prior and reservation was easy and well done. Airport arrival found our guide Christian exactly where we expected. We has a marvelous day and he kept us entertained with stories and the sights. We also had skip the line to Park Guell which worked great. As the tour was ending and jet lag starting to set in we got dropped off right at the entry to our cruise ship, no issues, no worries. I was so pleased with a super special private start to our big trip.

This tour was excellent. It was a private tour - just me + my 20 yr old son. Marc was our guide. He was very engaging + knowledgable. Everything he discussed was relevant and interesting. He met us at our hotel and brought us to the Jewish Quarter. That was key because a friend of mine never found it when she was there!! I highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of our stay in Barcelona!
