My husband and I had a delightful day of learning, laughs and pure enjoyment! We thoroughly enjoyed the tasteful re-creation of the old time circus atmosphere, wonderfully restored circus wagons, and the Big Top show complete with elephants and talented, devoted performers. Kids will have fun, so so did we as adults! Too many photos to share, but here are two. Thank you Circus World for our FUNDAY MONDAY.

Parfrey's Glen

Even though this is a relatively short hike (a little over 3 miles round trip) it is probably our favorite trail in Wisconsin. Our last trip it was very warm, close to 90. Once you get into the shaded part of the trail the temperature is very nice, so don't let a super hot sunny day deter you from checking this place out. Plus with as hot as it was, didn't mind just walking up the stream instead of jumping from rock to rock to stay dry.

I visited Baraboo Bluff Winery this past Saturday with my mom and some family friends for an impromptu girls day. We were impressed not only with the BEAUTIFUL view but also with the amazing customer service. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The wine tasting is a STEAL for how good the wine tastes and you can even keep your glass :) After the tasting, we had a glass of our favorite wine and even tried the wine slushies that are perfect on a warm almost Fall day. We were full from lunch but it is worth noting that there is cheese and crackers to snack on while you indulge in the wine. The owners were present at the winery and were extremely welcoming and appreciative for our visit. This is absolutely my favorite winery! You HAVE to check it out if you're in the area! :)

Pewit's Nest Gorge

Pewits nest is a little out of the way but well worth the effort to find it. Parking can be difficult and obey the posted signs. The gorge is beautiful and the scenery spectacular. The fall colors make it even more spectacular. If you are a camera buff there is so much to photograph. Sit and just enjoy the quiet beauty, it truly is one of wisconsins must sees.
