Souvenir Shirts

We opened our family business in 1987, offering souvenirs and gifts of the best quality for a very reasonable price. We have hoodies for summer visitors on those cool days. We carry ski gloves and bibs at extrememly reasonable prices for winter visitors. Our store is a family store and you will not find distasteful t-shirts or slogans.

Very nice place, and the young lady was so helpful. They had shirt design/print options to choose from; so, you choose the t-shirt/sweatshirt color, size, and style, and they imprint the design while you wait. Therefore, we got the shirts and gifts that we wanted. We are very pleased!

The Sunday we were there was really busy and crowded but they were prepared for it. Directions to park with shuttle service, live music, friendly people, places to sit (lots of folks brought lawn chairs), photo ops and wines that will please everyone. Next time we go we will plan to spend more time.

Apple Hill Farm

You MUST join a tour to see the animals. Apple Hill Farm is a real working farm that is home to alpacas, angora goats, donkeys, and much more. Educational guided walking tours of the farm offered year-round! Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Our tour was the day after a major snow and wind event in the area. The road to the farm is long and windy through beautiful countryside. Thankfully we had 4 wheel drive to get there! We arrived a 1/2 hour early and were greeted by Millie, a cheerful and lovely lady that welcomed us to look around the barn area until tour time. Millie showed us the angora goats, the colorful chickens and pot bellied pigs until others in the tour arrive. Millie was our tour guide. Her love and passion for the animals was very apparent! The 1 hour walking tour around the snow covered farm was just great. We learned about, petted and/or fed many of the animals which included donkeys, alpacas, horses, angora goats, miniature cows! lovable barn dogs and 3 astonishingly large Great Pyrenees dogs, the watchdogs of the barn animals. Millie answered all of our questions and is very knowledgeable of this farm. BTW, this farm is atop a very large mountain and the views are breath taking! We purchased alpaca socks in the gift shop which are soft, warm and very durable. This was such a wonderful experience! Thank you!

Great place to visit and enjoy the views. We visited this place on one of the busiest times of the year and still didn’t feel rushed or crowded. We both took a walk across the swinging bridge and then visited the animals in the sanctuary. I especially enjoyed seeing the Forrest Gump curve as I have always enjoyed the movie. Definitely worth a visit to this area.
