Every neighborhood in San Francisco has its own personality, from the hippie chic of the Upper Haight to the hipster grit of the Mission. The Marina district boasts trendy bistros and postcard-perfect views of the Golden Gate Bridge, while Noe Valley offers quaint and quiet boutiques. Wave hello to the sea lions at Pier 39, and sample local cheese and charcuterie at the Ferry Building. Sit in on a yoga session in Dolores Park or marvel at the Dutch Windmill across from Ocean Beach.

Experience San Francisco by bicycle. You’ll travel slow enough to catch each mural or stop for an unexpected cafe, yet fast enough to see the bay in the East, the ocean in the West, and the city between. San Francisco is a bike-sized city. Go ahead, see for yourself. Mission Bicycle leads intimate guided tours and offers 24-hour bicycle rentals, both on unique geared or single speed bicycles. Helmet, lights, lock, and messenger bag included. Visit our website for tour descriptions and more information.

One of the city's most popular park located between the Mission District and the Castro/Noe Valley neighborhoods. On sunny afternoons people flock to the park to play, picnic, lounge, walk their dogs, and enjoy spectacular views of the city's skyline and beyond. Please remember to pack out your trash, use cans instead of glass, and don't leave cigarette butts behind. This is a Leave no Trace park and bins are located around the perimeter of the park.
I was not expecting such a magnificent view of the SF skyline from the top of Mission Dolores park! What a surprise! Otherwise, this is a very beautiful, busy park, with lots of installment for the kids and adults alike. It is close to the Bi-Rite creamery, so also a great place to enjoy an ice cream cone. And it is super accessible, at the top of the park is the tram which will take you all the way down Market street to the Embarcadero!

I visited San Francisco this summer, and not only was this building highly photogenic, it also serves a higher purpose of empowerment. I was pleased to be able to receive this message while also just touring the city and taking pictures: it made for a very memorable experience. Highly recommend the trip here as there is a lot of wonderful stuff to do in the Mission District.
