Chanthara at the Sky Tower I Site was so helpful when our trip to Tiri Tiri Matangi was cancelled by the operator because of the weather. She had several helpful suggestions, and was friendly and very professional. New Zealand tourism is going through some hard times at the moment, and we need more people like Chanthara in the industry. Excellent service.

The National Library of New Zealand Auckland office provides educational support to New Zealand Schools. There is a small exhibition space downstairs that members of the public can access, however the rest of the library is not open to the public.

Background: Having found the Wellington and Nelson iSites useful, we thought we'd visit the Auckland iSite as well. Before we did, we walked from Mt. Eden to the Auckland (War) Museum to the iSite right on the waterfront. After we visited the iSite, we continued to enjoy the waterfront then walked back to Mt. Eden. Verdict: we found the iSite location useful, as they provided us with an informative map, and some preferred pedestrian routes to walk back to the little village of Mt. Eden. If we were to visit the Auckland waterfront again, we'd probably stop by and visit the iSite as well.
