My family visited this farm in June 2019. Eloisa and her son were gracious hosts, explaining the purposes of each plant and the importance of sustainable farming-- for economic development and for the environment. We also were treated to fruits, coffee, and freshly baked goods. Be sure not to miss the endangered orchids-- they are magnificent!

Located in the small community of Candelaria, this lovely spot services different coffees and well as ice cream concoctions. It is a gem that is not easy to find as the community is not on a main road. I had the Coffee Las Terrazas which resembled a chocolate milkshake which included chocolate as well as a coffee liquor. It was wonderful You can buy an internet card here for 1 CUC per hour and use it at other hotels in Cuba.

Banos del San Juan

Reviewed By IslandTimeX

It was a perfect day. We hiked from the Moka Hotel to Banos del San Juan enjoying the beautiful country side. We stopped off and bought a fresh coconut with a straw and then enjoyed swimming in cool clear waters of the river. The restaurant provides full meals and cold drinks as well as a clean bathroom. Then we asked the restaurant staff to call us a taxi to take us back to the hotel.
