The place offers a unique combination of a staycation and a nature getaway. Just outside the metro, it's a quick escape from the city. The resort itself is plush with trees and plants, and despite a fully booked weekend, provides plenty of quiet spaces to unwind. I love that the booking comes with free access to all activities, including a mountain hike. I have always loved the Sierra Madre mountain range sceneries, and this resort is atop one of its mountains. I enjoyed the home-cooked fashion of its buffet meals, and that I was able to feast on some of the options, being a vegan traveler. I advised the resort of my diet restriction before my stay.

Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage

Reviewed By teng7 - Metro Manila, Philippines

Have been a Marian devotee as long as I remember. Would always visit the shrine if given a chance. Recent visit this December 2020, still in the pandemic situation, was a bit alarming. Social distancing was not at all practiced, though chairs were placed outside the church it was still too close to each other. As a devotee, suggesting a maximum capacity for the Shrine would be more sufficient and safe for all. It would be a challenge but I guess fellow devotees will surely understand and follow safety protocols if properly implemented. God bless and protect us all. Praying that this pandemic would soon come to an end. Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, pray for us.
