Frigate Bird Sanctuary

Home to one of the largest frigate (or man-of-war or hurricane) bird colonies in the world.

Reviewed By kenfish - New York City, United States

On my recent trip to Barbuda, I got to watch the amazing mating habits of Frigate birds. In a well preserved sanctuary that is only reachable by small boat you can watch the females with their white under bellies get woo by the males with the inflated red pouches. A magnificent show of nature.

Half Moon Bay

Catch some rays while watching the surf at this beautiful pink sand beach.

Reviewed By Lovetotravel0981

By far, my favorite beach on the island! Went there twice. Wide open beach, soft, white sand and cool breezes. Great little bar to get drinks and food. Lobster and Von were great in providing chairs and umbrellas at a reasonable cost and they couldn't be more helpful and kind. Definitely a must go to beach!!
