Tabanco Ole Jerez

LIVE THE SHERRY & FLAMENCO EXPERIENCE If there is a typical place in Jerez where to take the wine as it was centuries ago, that is the Tabanco. In bulk, directly from the cask. This is how the finos, olorosos and amontillados are served in these offices of wines that until recently were almost disappeared. And at the city centre of Seville, TABANCO OLE JEREZ invites you to live a unique Sherry & Flamenco experience. JEREZ-XÉRÈZ-SHERRY WINES. THE WORLD’S MOST VERSATILE WINE Sherry Wines have sensory characteristics whose variations and nuances are rarely matched elsewhere in the wine world. They range in colour from the palest, clearest greenish yellow of the biologically aged wines, to the darker, more opaque mahogany of the natural sweet wines, with various shades of gold, amber and chestnut brown in between. FLAMENCO: JEREZ & SEVILLA Martinetes, siguiriyas, soleás, alegrías, fandangos, bulerías... make to vibrate the viewer who enjoys this art at TABANCO FLAMENCO OLE JEREZ.

La Cava Taberna Flamenca

Reviewed By jerrya989 - Scandia, United States

As we were walking around Cadiz we were on our way back to our parking spot down this small side street. We noticed this small bar "La Cava" featured Flamenco evenings. Went inside and immediately made reservations without doing any research. We were definitely NOT Disappointed. The show was fantastic. You could really see and feel the passion the dancers, singer, and guitarist revealed in their performance. Would rate higher if I could.

I enjoyed the flamenco so much at Casa del Arte the other night so thought I go see another show before leaving Granada. I chose the dinner/show option at Zoraya. I bought the ticket through a third party and was told to arrive by 6:30. When I got there, they couldn’t seat me until 7:30 because my ticket was for the 8:30 show. Anyway, the 3 course set dinner was very average and although I was in the first row, my table was near a family with a child who was too young to be quiet during the performance. Once the singer started, I knew I was in for some first rate entertainments. What a voice! The male and female dancers did a pleasant dance together. It was not until the solos when I fully appreciated her skills and expressions. Wish there was some brief description to non-Spanish speaking audience about the theme of her dance. None the less, the passion and soulfulness came through loud and clear! Well done! Photo/video were allowed throughout the show.

Zambra Maria La Canastera

We are a FLAMENCO SHOW CAVE in Granada located in the picturesque district of Sacromonte and it is considered one of the main tourist attractiveness in our city. Today fifty years after its founding we continue organizing every night the gypsy tipycal folklore of Sacromonte masterfully offered by the descendents of María La Canastera responsible for maintaining the tradition that she left .

This was definitely one of the highlights of our two-week tour through southern Spain. I would definitely recommend this as the flamenco option if you have to pick one in your trip. The venue is so unique and intimate compared to other shows I have seen advertised and a show we also saw in Seville that was in a more typical stage-like venue. The dancers and musicians had a real energy and genuine sense of connection and joy about them the entire time. The music was fantastic and the dancing was moving and exhilarating. On top of that, they include pick-up and drop-off, which makes it super convenient (I would advise this option not only for convenience but also, at least for us, we got there just before the show started so we got to sit along the walls that gave us a really close-up view of the entire show). This experience will stay with me forever. I loved it!
