Formerly an industrial hub, Allentown is probably most well known as the subject of the eponymous Billy Joel song. We enjoyed our very first American League hockey game between the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Hershey Bears. Lively atmosphere, clean facility and do much to see and do. Terrific atmosphere and activities & contests throughout the game. Only complaint was the “smoke show” prior to puck drop. Not necessary. But that’s a minor concern. Great value and lots of fun.
