Daysailing

We start driving at 10:30 from Afitos to Nea Fokea we will stop at the byzantine tower. After we are driving to suni resort there there is a small lake. We will drive between sani and Kassandria in the forest. And we will stop before Fourka where is a small church from 1850 there we are going to have our launch. Near to the church there is a very beautiful bay for swimming. We will follow the road

Before going on the trip Sven has been really helpful providing all the information needed before boarding.
We went for an afternoon sail and once we got on the boat Sven took us to this beautiful spot where we could jump in the water whilst he was preparing a delicious food salad. The view, spot and trip were well chosen for the time and day of the trip but most importantly Sven is a very approachable and sociable host.
The only regret we have is that we didn't do the sailing earlier when we arrived in Halkidiki. Don't make the same mistake.
Thank you Sven and it was nice crossing paths :)

Kallitheas Beach

Almost all sunbeds in combination with an umbrella are paid in Kallitheas Beach, stating from 10€ for two sunbeds with umbrella per day! Additionally, a frappe coffee is 4€! On top, the order is too tight, you have no commotion! That's a shame!
The beach is sandy and is more or less okay.

Byzantine Tower

Reviewed By Tuqe - Tirana, Albania

As we reach Nea Fokea the little harbor and the tower it was the most panoramic view. In summer area looks quite impressive, but city is small and doesn’t offer much to do. We spend hours just to discover some attractive spots... but couldn’t succeed. Tower itself make the difference!! Indeed is worthy visiting this place just because this tower which by the local peoples is well-known as the tower of Saint Paul. It is well protected and beside is some ruins of an almost demolished castle. Very closed with tower is a little chapel which offers much quietness!

Bubble Adventures Halkidiki

Bubble Adventures has been set up by Karla Brooker to introduce people of all ages to the delights of the Aegean Sea and surrounding area. Karla is a Scuba Diving and Snorkeling Instructor and Guide who has limitless enthusiasm for Halkidiki both above and below the water's surface. 'Sparky' the Land Rover Defender is always a hit with the kids - especially on the off-road sections leading to the diving and snorkeling sites. NOTOS All Day Cafe Bar

Reviewed By Vassilis T - Athens, Greece

Well, it's a place with unique view to the sea from above. We went in the afternoon and there weren't many people. We ordered 3 ice tea and they hardly taste like tea. We thought that it was colored water. The fredo we ordered was ok. We did not complain because we understood that it was a "for tourists place" and you cannot have great expectations from such a place.

Daysailing

Reviewed By Faye S - Leicester, United Kingdom

This trip was arranged by George at the Country Inn Hotel and 6 of us from the hotel went on Svens boat with two other guests from another hotel. Panos our Captain for the day was wonderful and full of fun just the guy you need for this. The weather was great, we were lucky enough to be visited by Dolphins. There was as much wine, juice or water as you wanted and a lunch made freshly by Panos. On booking the trip I told Sven I did like mayonaise and this was passed on to Panos and low and behold no mayonaise on my lunch. Thanks very much for the most wonderful and fun filled day. Panos you are a star!

Sani Marina

Reviewed By B1714D - Belgrade, Serbia

I wouldn't like to be misunderstood by this review of mine. The whole complex of Sani is spotless, clean and luxurious offering a demanding deep pocket tourist everything he'd expect. It's a pretty new resort opened few years ago with several high end hotels, plenty of nice restaurants, thick mattresses on sunbeds at the beach, golf courses, haute couture shops, luxurious villas, bungalows, pools...few of them private for villa users, manicured Gardens,...you name it. It's Kassandra's response to Sithonia's Porto Carras resort built two decades ago (to which I have same impressions).
But, what it lacks is soul. Greek soul. That's not why most people come to Greece. There's a theater like atmosphere. It's a kind of Disney resort you'd expect in Florida, not in Greece. You don't have to be a hotel guest to visit it, you can enter free and take photos of multi million yachts, have a triple priced drink or meal,...or just walk along the marina.

Afytos Beach

Reviewed By B1714D - Belgrade, Serbia

This long beach, beneath the beautiful village of Afitos in my opinion counts into the top 5 on the whole Halkidiki, and is certainly the best on Kassandra.
The turquoise water and white sand look Caribbean like. As I said, being beneath Afitos, it requires some effort reaching it, and significant effort coming back uphill to town if walking.
Therefore, I recommend driving down there. There's plenty of parking space right by the beach. The beach has private and public parts. Private belong to bars along the beach and you only need to order a drink to have your sunbed and umbrella. But, they're overcrowded (specially in peak season, July and August) and worst of all spoiled by loud music.
Therefore, I recommend a public part with your own sun umbrella on a long stretch with very few people around and postcard surroundings.
