On my visit there were only 3 tables occupied including mine. Very cosy place with amazingly nice green plants and flowers. Well decorated. Never had such a perfectly baked, and prepared grilled steak. With French fries and mashed potatoes. The mixed vegetable salad was delicious. Excellent service. High quality chocolate ice cream. We would recommend anyone visiting this restaurant.

The food at the Container Beach Restaurant was fantastic. I ordered two items from the vegan menu and was thoroughly impressed. The dishes were made with quality ingredients, packed full of flavor, and made with love. The father-daughter duo who run the restaurant are both very kind, genuine people. They patiently helped me get back to my accommodation even though it was well past their closing time. Recommend this place for the great food and people :)

We had a very nice lunch here today. The food (veg sandwich and veg burger) was excellent. The Sri Lankan food is amazing but this was a very welcome change after six weeks here. We also enjoyed the fresh juices. Besides the quality of the food and drinks, we really liked the atmosphere of this place. Staff was super friendly and attentive and the interior was funky. It's also possible to do a bike tour via the cafe. We didn't have time for it but it sounded like a great way to discover Negombo.
